Fowey

Located on the Cornish Riviera and on the mouth of the River Fowey, Fowey has some fantastic beaches and walks close by. It is the birthplace of Daphne du Maurier and as a result, has a literacy centre in the town. The Fowey to Mevagissey Ferry provides easy transport to one of Cornwall's most picturesque fishing villages. Fowey is also home to St. Catherine's Castle, a small fort built by Henry VIII.
