Basingstoke
Situated in the north of Hampshire, Basingstoke is a large town, and a regional shopping centre. The ruins of the largest country house in England, Basing House, can be found in nearby Old Basing. The Vyne (NT), a Tudor mansion, is just to the north off the A340. Basingstoke is easily accessible via the M3 motorway which runs past the town.
