A picturesque village on the southern edge of the New Forest, Beaulieu is perhaps most famous for the National Motor Museum. Created by Lord Montagu, the museum has many cars from across the ages on display, including the first and last of Donald and Malcolm Campbell's 'Bluebirds', the land speed record breakers. Much of the Cistercian abbey where the Palace House is now the family home of Lord and Lady Montagu of Beaulieu, can also be visited.
