Mere
Mere is an attractive village with old stone cottages, and has always been a staging post mid-way between London and the West Country. Today, it remains a convenient stopping point, being just a mile from the much improved A303. The town is within easy reach of Bath, Salisbury, Stourhead and Longleat.
