Pewsey
Pewsey is a picturesque village in the Pewsey Vale, located within easy driving distance of Marlborough. The town hosts the oldest carnival in Wiltshire, normally held for two weeks in late September. Pewsey was once owned by King Alfred, and a statue of him remains at the main crossroads in the centre of the village.
